For the majority of the people in the world, the job seems simple to stay at home as much as possible to slow down the spread of COVID-19. The ongoing practice of social distancing can have a negative impact on your physical and mental health. Some ways are jotted down to help you stay mentally sharp, physically active and connected during this COVID-19 pandemic.
- Stay Active: Physical activities not only improves your physical health but also reduces stress and boost your mood. There are several fitness websites and applications to set up a routine for exercise at home. Not all exercises require gym equipment and the closure of the gym will not stop your workouts. You can always start with simple activities like walking or stretching.
- Eat Wisely: It is easy to munch on snacks by staying at home all day long. Too many fatty and sugary foods may increase your weight leading to poor mental health.
